Official Discord Server

As of today we've launched our very own official Discord server which anyone is welcome to join. Discord is an all-in-one voice and text chat for gamers that's free, secure, and works on both your desktop and phone. It is growing at an incredibly fast rate due to the innovative way they have managed to merge and combine elements from several different existing applications. This does not mean we are leaving TeamSpeak, but merely means we will run it alongside our TeamSpeak server.

Currently it has a basic setup and is mostly for general / public use and only Admin and Helper usergroups exist. This may be expanded in the future if we deem it necessary and if there is enough of a demand from players to settle their channels here over TeamSpeak. We encourage everyone to give their feedback on how they envision our community should make use of Discord and are open to your ideas.

NGG Transition

It has been almost a month since the NGG transition took place and so far we are very happy many NGG players have settled in so well and now consider themselves HZG players. We hope your stay has been pleasant so far and understand that while our server and community may be different in many ways that you still get to enjoy your SA-MP experience at your new home here. It is great to see that so many of you have integrated into our gang, faction or even civilian life.

We have also been in touch with the now retired NGG leadership and they too are glad things are going well and have wished us the best of luck. We want to once again thank them for their courage in undertaking such a difficult decision in the interest of the preservation of the SA-MP RP playerbase, and hope to continue our shared legacy for years to come.

For anyone that is still looking to convert over their NGRP account, it can be done here.





Admin Team

As many of you have noticed the admin team has become bigger over the last couple of months and is currently the biggest team we have ever had. Due to previous growth and now the influx of NGG players we have had to rapidly expand the size of our admin team to help address the amount of reports and attend to all the needs of the players. Unfortunately we had very little time to prepare for the closure of NGG and have not been able to fully expand our team to meet all the needs. This is an on-going process that may take some time to balance, so we ask for your patience and understanding in the meantime.

As always we will continue improving our admin team and admin system as much as possible.





Gang Showcase

Gang Management has recently introduced a new forum section called the Gang Showcase. This is intended as a general showcase of gang life and all the relevant threads from the Gang Information & Discussion seciton have been moved there instead. You can post anything relating to gang life there, whether it be screenshots, videos or stories about your gang gameplay.





UCP Status

As many of you have already noticed: The User Control Panel (UCP) has been taken offline indefinitely, but it will most likely return in the future.

The UCP was written by Beren (an old staff member) in 2013 and has not been updated since, so unfortunately the code is now very outdated and seizes to be compatible with newer PHP versions. Aside from that some vulnerabilities / exploits were also discovered, so it is no longer durable to keep that version online.
